LESSON # 5:
“DEFINING DEAD WORKS”
Look carefully below at the definition of “works.” Man
can perform three different types of works as listed
below. Only one is acceptable to God in the life of a
believer. “Wicked Works” is what we did as unbelievers
under the influence of Satan. “Good works” is what we
now do under the influence of God our Father.
It is “dead works” that this foundational principle of
Hebrews Six calls us to repent from. Dead works are
the things we do under our own influence and power.
