LESSON #5:
“THE DEVIL DEFINED”
Who is Satan? Scripture says he is “the Prince of the
Power of the air” (Eph.2:2). That means he is over the
evil “principalities and powers” with whom the
Christian on earth wrestles in warfare (Eph.6:12).
“Principalities” govern geographical places of the
earth. “Powers” rule over demographical peoples on
earth. As the Price of the Power of the air Satan
wages warfare against the inhabitants of the earth.
This is what is meant by, “the whole world lies under
the sway (influence) of the Wicked One (1 Jn.5:19).
