PERSONAL TESTIMONY
OF

I was born and raised in France.
My spiritual experience during those days was rooted
in Catholicism. As a dedicated Catholic, I had a great
devotion to God as I understood Him through the
limitations of Catholic doctrine. Mary was important to
me also. I once thought that a statue of Mary smiled
at me. With my upbringing, I was ripe for the truth of
God’s Word when I would finally hear it.

Like my husband, I too will make a long story short. After years of wandering
in this present world, I finally heard the true Word of God in a Baptist church
and immediately became a born-again Christian. We Catholics make great
converts when we are exposed to the truth. From that moment forward, I
began to make Jesus Christ the center of my life. I was mentored in those
days by a devoted deaconess in the Baptist church where I became born-
again. She had great influence upon me and quickly became a role-model for
me.

As I grew in Christ, my greatest desire was now to see that my husband
would also come to the same life-changing truth. I just wanted him to become
like one of the godly men I knew in the Baptist church. However, God had
greater aspiration for us both. After saving my husband in 1976 in a dramatic
manner, He called Him to teach His Word. After serving several years in an
Assemblies of God church, we started a small church in our home. Here we
are 37 years later, both still serving Christ and His people. My husband
became a great teacher of God’s Word which I still find to be overwhelming
seeing where we both came from.

I am most thankful to God that I can be my husband’s help-mate in the

ministry. There is no greater call than for a wife to help her husband become

all that God wants him to be. I am honored to have been a pastor’s wife over

the last 37 years. Even at 82 years old, may we have yet more healthy years
