We are going to take a brief look at what the Bible presents as the race and the prize. It has nothing to do with
eternal life. It has everything to do with eternal rewards. A prize is not a gift. Eternal life is a gift. God has made
us to be His sons and daughters by the free gift of eternal life. Do you want what is higher than what you
already have? Then hear what the Spirit says to the churches( sons and daughters):

“...I WILL GIVE IN MY HOUSE AND WITHIN MY WALLS A PLACE
AND A NAME BETTER THAN THAT OF SONS AND DAUGHTERS...”

The name God offers to every member of the Body of Christ is that of the Bride of Christ. The Bride of Christ
will be formed out of the members of the Body of Christ in the same manner as was Adam’s bride (Eve) formed
out of Adam’s body while he slept. The Last Adam, Jesus (1 Cor. 15:45), will have His bride formed out of a part
of His Body (sons and daughters) while it is in a deep spiritual sleep pertaining to the real goals and purposes
God has set before us. We need to awake to what is the race and the prize God has offered to His people. Far
too many of God’s people are immersed into an earthly political race for an earthly political prize. Focus on the
real prize and it will cease to matter who is in the White House! Read the Book of Acts. The early church turned
the world upside down while Nero sat on the throne of the Roman Empire. Why do we need a Christian
President over this modern-day version of the Roman Empire?

The set of Scriptures below requires thoughtful contemplation for they speak of the nature of the race and the
magnitude of the prize God has set before every born-again Christian. I cannot elaborate upon them in this
brief newsletter. I have written several books which do so:
