As God’s people, we can either “humble
ourselves” or we can have God forcibly
do it for us through chastisement. One
way or the other, God will see to it that
we follow a path of humility as His
children. Doing it ourselves is definitely
“the easy way”, but having God do it for
us must be labeled as “the hard way.”
