Page 10 - The Revelation Vol Six
P. 10
The things John
“has seen”
(past) is the
vision of Jesus
as the Righteous
Judge in the
midst of His
church.
Those things
“which are”
(present) , John
is told to write in
seven letters to
be sent to the
churches
depicting Jesus’
estimation
of their spiritual
condition.
Being letters of a prophetic nature, they reveal the status
of the church right up to the return of Christ as we shall
see in the next chapter.
John is also told to write the things which “will take
place” (future) after this. The “after this” speaks
prophetically of those things which will happen at the
close of the church age as it currently exists. Let us again
take a peek ahead in Revelation to the exact point where
this third division will occur 10
