LESSON # 2:

“REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS”

There are six “elementary principles” which
constitute a solid foundation in the life of a follower of
Christ. You can read them in Hebrews Chapter Six.

The first of these “elementary principles” is spelled
out as “repentance from dead works.” Repentance is
missing from the modern-day presentation of
salvation. It has been replaced with the call to just
“believe God.” However, this is the second step. We
must first “Repent, and turn to God” by means of
works befitting the call to repentance.
