         AND ON HER HEAD A GARLAND OF TWELVE STARS.

The imagery of “The Sun-clothed woman” signifies the
history of Israel ( as the woman) birthing her “son”, the
Lord Jesus Christ. The prophet Isaiah foretold of this as well:

    “FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN, UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN…”
                                                   Isa 9:6

Isaiah goes on to speak of Israel’s “Son” becoming the yet-
future reigning Messiah over an everlasting kingdom that will
never end (Isaiah 9:7-9).

Let us now consider this prophetic unfolding of what is found in the
imagery of “the Sun-clothed Woman”
