Paul confirms that there is a PRESENT manifestation of the Kingdom of God on earth:
“FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT FOOD AND DRINK, BUT
RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. FOR HE WHO
SERVES CHRIST IN THESE THINGS IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD…” Rom. 14:17-18
Notice the three marks of the Kingdom of God on earth is NOT “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of
Happiness.” I am not seeking to be unkind, but much of Christianity in America is serving the wrong
kingdom! Acceptable service to God is focusing upon the true Kingdom of God namely, righteousness
and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. American Christianity is devoid of an emphasis upon the true
Kingdom of God and has adopted the Puritan counterfeit of America being God’s “New Israel-The
Kingdom of God on earth.” (see my newsletters, AMERICA IN THE SIGHT OF GOD: NEW ISRAEL OR NEW ROME?”
and “THE PURITAN WAY VS. THE PILGRIM WAY” at “pastorrandyshupe.com/classics-newsletters.php”).
I can say little about this Book- $ 9.95 Book- $ 9.95 DVD series- $25.00
subject in the space left,
so let me recommend two
books and a DVD teaching
to you if you have never
heard much taught about
the Kingdom of God.
These items are listed and
described on my website:

7. “HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME”
A definition of this archaic word (“Hallow”) is needful to understand this final proclamation believers are
to pray to God and demonstrate in their lives lived on earth. Webster states the meaning of “hallow” as:
“HOLY, SET APART, KEEP AS SACRED, RESPECT, REVERE, HONOR”
What is quite incredible to me is the use of this word “hallow” in the ever-so popular, but pagan and
demonic holiday of “HALLOWEEN”!
Is God’s name “hallowed” in the earth? Hardly! Isaiah the prophet said:
“AND MY NAME IS BLASPHEMED CONTINUALLY EVERY DAY.
THEREFORE MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME…” Isa. 52:5-6
When angry, much of the world’s people (even the educated) cannot finish a sentence without using the
Lord’s name in a profane way. God told His people Israel:
“YOU SHALL NOT PROFANE MY HOLY NAME, BUT I WILL BE HALLOWED AMONG THE CHILDREN OF
ISRAEL. I AM THE LORD WHO SANCTIFIES YOU.” Lev. 22:32
God’s people certainly should not be using His name in profanity! However, neither should they break
the third commandment of taking the Lord’s name in vain:
“YOU SHALL NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD IN VAIN, FOR THE LORD WILL NOT HOLD
HIM GUILTLESS WHO TAKES HIS NAME IN VAIN” Ex. 20:7
Taking the name of the Lord in vain has nothing to do with profanity. It rather means that one who calls
himself a Christian bears the name of the Lord. A Christian is to be a follower of Christ. If we take His
name to ourselves and do not follow Christ, then we are guilty of taking the name of the Lord in vain.
The word “vain” in Scripture means, “useless, empty, worthless.” This is why Paul admonished
believers: “WE THEN AS WORKERS TOGETHER WITH HIM ALSO PLEAD WITH YOU
NOT TO RECEIVE THE GRACE OF GOD IN VAIN.” 2 Cor. 6:1
We marvel at the fact that God has given us His grace. Paul warns that we can receive it in vain. Pray,
“Hallowed be Your name” and analyze whether we who have received the grace of God are “hallowing”
the name of God not only with our lips, but also with a lifestyle that brings honor to His name!
