“WHO CAN FIND A VIRTUOUS WIFE? FOR HER WORTH IS FAR ABOVE RUBIES. THE HEART OF HER HUSBAND
SAFELY TRUSTS HER...MANY DAUGHTERS HAVE DONE WELL, BUT YOU EXCEL THEM ALL." CHARM IS
DECEITFUL AND BEAUTY IS PASSING, BUT A WOMAN WHO FEARS THE LORD, SHE SHALL BE PRAISED.
GIVE HER OF THE FRUIT OF HER HANDS, AND LET HER OWN WORKS PRAISE HER IN THE GATES.”

                                                      Prov 31:10-31 excerpts

“0 LISTEN, O DAUGHTER, CONSIDER AND INCLINE YOUR EAR; FORGET YOUR OWN PEOPLE ALSO, AND YOUR
FATHER'S HOUSE; SO THE KING WILL GREATLY DESIRE YOUR BEAUTY; BECAUSE HE IS YOUR LORD, WORSHIP
HIM... THE ROYAL DAUGHTER IS ALL GLORIOUS WITHIN THE PALACE; HER CLOTHING IS WOVEN WITH GOLD.
SHE SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE KING IN ROBES OF MANY COLORS; THE VIRGINS, HER COMPANIONS WHO

       FOLLOW HER, SHALL BE BROUGHT TO YOU. WITH GLADNESS AND REJOICING THEY SHALL BE BROUGHT;
THEY SHALL ENTER THE KING'S PALACE.”
                                                                                   Ps 45:10-17

As Proverbs 31 states, “Many daughters have done well,” but this virtuous wife “excels them all.” Psalm 45
reveals that this “royal daughter” will be accompanied by a host of virgins. At the rapture all wise virgins will be
taken. Out of the host of wise virgins, Christ will call His Bride.
Psalm 45 shows that the Bride of Christ will be at center stage in eternity. Plan to be part of it. The Holy Spirit is
presently working with the Bride to invite all believers to “come”:

“I, JESUS, HAVE SENT MY ANGEL TO TESTIFY TO YOU THESE THINGS IN THE CHURCHES...AND
THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY, ‘COME!’ AND LET HIM WHO HEARS SAY, ‘COME!’
AND LET HIM WHO THIRSTS COME...” Rev.22:16-17

                                                                      Pastor Randy Shupe

As a further study on this subject, you might consider ordering a copy of a book I wrote entitled,

This book was first published in 1986. It was my first, and is the largest $10.95 ea.
book that the Lord has inspired me to write. It is still among my favorites. Plus $ 3.00 shipping
After many years of being out of print, I have decided to reprint it in its
original format rather than allowing it to no longer be in circulation. Sadly,
I must say, the true message of the Bride of Christ remains a “great
mystery” to most of God’s people today (Eph. 5:32). With the erroneous
“I got it all when I got saved” theology that permeates most of Christianity,
the need to pursue after Paul’s “goal and prize of the upward call of God
in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:13-15) has been theologically rendered null and
void.

“…I PRESS ON, THAT I MAY LAY
HOLD OF THAT FOR WHICH CHRIST
JESUS HAS ALSO LAID HOLD OF ME…
I PRESS TOWARD THE GOAL FOR THE
PRIZE OF THE UPWARD CALL OF GOD

                                                IN CHRIST JESUS…
                                         AS MANY AS ARE MATURE,

                                                HAVE THIS MIND…
                                                      BRETHREN,

                                  JOIN IN FOLLOWING MY EXAMPLE…
YOU HAVE US FOR A PATTERN.”

                                                              Phil. 3:12-17

In spite of the apostle Paul’s admonition to all believers to “join in following my example” and “you have us for a
pattern”, we do not see his example and pattern being presented to the saints in today’s modern-day theology.

If indeed Paul is to be our example and pattern, why then are we not being taught the meaning of the goal and
prize of which he speaks? This book sets before the believer the “great mystery” of the Bride of Christ (Eph.
5:25-32) as being the goal and prize of “the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
