The order in which this prayer reads is not how it works.
It reads as a prayer of descent from the highest principle to the lowest:

                             OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN:
                          HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME,

                               YOUR KINGDOM COME,
YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH

                                    AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

GIVE US DAY BY DAY OUR DAILY BREAD,

                             AND FORGIVE US OUR SINS,
FOR WE ALSO FORGIVE EVERYONE WHO IS INDEBTED TO US.

AND DO NOT LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION,
BUT DELIVER US FROM THE EVIL ONE.’ ”
                                        Luke 11:1-4 NKJ

I would like to suggest to you that
    in practical application,
    the seven stated principles
    contained within this prayer are
    ASCENDING truths rather than
    DESCENDING ones.
By that statement, I simply mean
that the prayer is to be viewed
as working from the bottom to the
top rather than from the top to
    the bottom.

This is not unusual in God’s Love is certainly the greatest
Word. Often the highest truth is attribute a believer can
stated first but is not how it is
practically worked out in our manifest (1 Cor. 13:13). It is
lives. Consider another pyramid singled out as “…the bond of
of truth that although listed from perfection” that is to be put on
the top to the bottom, it too works
from the bottom to the top: by the believer (Col. 3:14).
                                                                           However,
“…THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS
in considering this list of the
fruit of God’s Spirit at work in
the life of the believer, the first
thing God must impart to the

new convert is the need for
                                                      self-control over his flesh

                                               nature. The believer who lacks
                                                        self-control in his or her

                                                 relationships cannot possibly
                                                manifest the capstone truth of

                                                         love which “…bears all
                                                     things…endures all things
(and) never fails” (1 Cor. 13:7-8).
